- NMR Instrumentation. - Introduction to NMR Spectroscopy. - Theory of NMR Spectroscopy. - Calibration the instrument for accuracy. -Choice of the appropriate NMR probe (solid/liquid). - Overview of possible states and morphologies of synthetic polymers:  a) dilute solution,  (b) concentrated solution or melt, (c) network (gel or elastomer),  (d) phase-separated block copolymer,  (e) semi crinoline polymer. -How to obtain representative samples from various sources.
- Applications of NMR for Polymer analysis. -1H NMR spectroscopy: Chemical Shifts and Spin-Spin Splitting. -Applications of 1H NMR spectroscopy. - 13C NMR spectroscopy - Chemical Shifts, DEPT, APT. - Applications of 13C NMR spectroscopy. - Introduction to two-dimensional NMR Spectroscopy.  -Applications of 2D NMR spectroscopy. -Acquisition, Processing and Interpretations of NMR data.  -NMR in qualitative and quantitative analysis of Natural and synthetic polymers. -Process NMR data through Fourier transformation, baseline correction, and phasing.  -Interpret NMR spectra to identify and quantify compound.
