This Special Collection aims to showcase the cutting-edge developments in the rapidly evolving field of electrosynthesis. We invite contributions that explore innovative electrochemical transformation or strategies, including but not limited to new methodologies, mechanistic insights, green and sustainable synthesis, electrochemical reactor design and application, and any applications at the interface of chemistry or biology. Both fundamental and applied studies are welcome, encompassing experimental and theoretical work, as well as reviews that highlight emerging trends and future challenges. Through this collection, we seek to advance understanding of how electrosynthetic techniques can expand the synthetic toolbox, enhance selectivity and efficiency, and contribute to a more sustainable chemical future. Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal’s and the Editorial Office informed by email. Please add a “note to the editor” in the submission form when you submit your manuscript to indicate that this is an open call submission for the themed collection. The Editorial Office reserves the right to check the suitability of submissions in relation to the scope of the collection and inclusion of accepted articles in the collection is not guaranteed. All manuscripts will be subject to the journal's usual peer review process. Accepted manuscripts will be highlighted together in a dedicated web collection alongside an editorial, regardless of submission date, and there will be no delay in the publication of all accepted manuscripts into regular issues of Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry. |
