This course is aimed at secondary school science teachers. Led by expert facilitators, the course will help you develop strategies for delivering practical work as well as hints and tips to manage your classroom during practical work. Over four live online sessions, there’s time to discuss ideas and share your previous experience, plus opportunities to ask questions and get guidance from our experts.
After this course, you should:
- have greater confidence in planning and delivering practical work
- have greater confidence in managing your classroom, particularly during practical work
- be able to use a wider range of practical approaches in your lessons
Throughout the course you will gain knowledge and skills for teaching chemistry through guided learning discussions, in which you will share ideas and experiences with a group of your peers and teaching experts.
