The topic will be the response to hazardous materials incidents. This will include a description of the role of SFR Technical Support Team, a tour of the Operations Room and a viewing of associated analytical equipment used in the normalisation of events. This includes portable GC MS and FTIR Instrumentation, gas detectors, radiation monitoring equipment, microscopal and classcal wet chemistry techniques all applied on the incident ground.
