Introduction
The University of Plymouth has a portable infrared spectrometer available for SIAS workshops in schools. During the session teachers will have the opportunity to improve their confidence in teaching spectroscopy, discover a range of resources for chemistry teaching, learn about developments in analytical chemistry linking into syllabus requirements and book a SIAS workshops for their schools.The evening will be led by Dr Mike Foulkes, Associate Professor (visiting) in Environmental Chemistry and his team.
